Project Description

Carroll Class

Year 5

Welcome to Carroll Class! We are named after Lewis Carroll (1832 – 1898), whose real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. Lewis Carroll was an English writer of children’s fiction, most notably ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and its sequel, ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’. He also wrote nonsense poetry including ‘The Jabberwocky’.

There are 27 lovely pupils in our class which is taught by Miss Duval. We are also lucky to have the help of our amazing teaching assistants – Mrs Illsley, Mrs Starr and Mrs Prudhoe. In our class, everyone is expected to try their best and meet challenges with enthusiasm. When we work hard and have high expectations for ourselves, wonderful things can be achieved!
