Cavell Class
Year 5
Welcome! Our class is named after Edith Cavell, a British nurse in World War One, who took care of injured soldiers of all nationalities and risked her own life to help British, French and Belgian soldiers escape capture by the Germans.
Our class consists of 31 friendly pupils and is taught by Miss Dardecker and Mrs Vaughan. We are also lucky to have the help of our amazing teaching assistants – Mrs Illsley, Mrs Bowden, Miss Taylor and Mr Jackson. In our class, everyone is expected to try their best and work their hardest. When we all do this, amazing things happen!
