French Curriculum

French at Our School

At our school, we are passionate about developing a love of languages from an early age. We use Language Angels to support the teaching of French, providing children with engaging, interactive and age-appropriate lessons that build confidence and enthusiasm for learning a new language.

Through songs, games, stories, speaking activities and cultural experiences, pupils develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in French. Our carefully sequenced curriculum enables children to build on their knowledge year by year, learning useful vocabulary and phrases while developing an understanding and appreciation of French-speaking cultures.

We want every child to feel confident having a go, celebrating mistakes as part of the learning process and taking pride in their progress. Learning French helps our pupils to broaden their horizons, communicate with others and develop valuable skills for the future.
