Music at Our School
Music is an important part of life at our school, giving every child the opportunity to explore, create and perform. We use Sparkyard to support our music curriculum, providing engaging and inspiring resources that help pupils develop their musical knowledge and confidence.
Through singing, listening, composing and performing, children explore a wide range of musical styles, traditions and cultures. They learn to use their voices and instruments creatively, developing their understanding of rhythm, melody, notation and musical vocabulary as they progress through the school.
Our music lessons encourage children to be curious, expressive and confident musicians. We celebrate every child's creativity and provide opportunities for pupils to share their musical talents through performances, assemblies and school events.
We aim to nurture a lifelong love of music, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to enjoy making music and experience the joy and sense of achievement that comes from performing.
