Learning Overviews

Our Learning Overviews are shared with families at the beginning of each term to give parents and children a clear picture of the exciting learning that will take place across the curriculum. They provide a snapshot of the key knowledge, skills and topics that children will be exploring in each subject throughout the term.

We believe that sharing this information helps to strengthen the link between home and school. It gives parents an opportunity to talk to their children about what they are learning, ask questions, celebrate their achievements and, where possible, make connections with learning beyond the classroom.

The overviews are not intended to cover everything the children will learn, but instead provide a useful starting point for conversations at home and help families to understand the learning journey their child is undertaking each term.
